We have been establishing an avenue of oaks for some time now on a natural ridge up towards Pukeora with the idea of making trees in the lane available to founding families in Central Hawkes Bay.
To be eligible as a founder and member of the Founders Lane ones ancestors have to have arrived in New Zealand by before 1865. If any local family wishes to be involved - get in touch.
